Esther Martin - Associate

Esther Martin specialises in employment, partnership and business immigration law and has experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters, acting for both employer and individual employee clients. Prior to joining CM Murray LLP she trained at a leading international law firm.

Esther has experience in:

• providing advice to international corporate clients on various issues of employment law
• advising clients based abroad on issues of setting up an office in the UK
• liaising with foreign counsel on enforceability of UK contracts in other jurisdictions
• drafting employment documentation
• working on high value cases in the Employment Tribunal
• handling partnership disputes including discrimination issues and departures
• advising clients regarding the termination of their employment
• advising on Tier 1 and Tier 2 business immigration applications

Esther undertook a six-month secondment in Paris and has a background in the Private Funds, Securitisation and Banking sectors. She is a member of the UK Employment Lawyers Association, the Association of Partnership Practitioners, the American Bar Association and the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA).
