David Fisher - Consultant
David Fisher is a Consultant specialising in employment and partnership law.
He has vast experience advising major corporations, other private and public sector employers, and senior individuals on the full range of contentious and non-contentious issues, and has been described as “a leading authority figure on employment matters regionally and nationally” (Chambers and Partners, 2010).
David’s particular experience includes advising on the following:
- large scale business restructurings and transfers
- drafting and enforcement of restrictive covenants
- team moves
- High Court injunctions for breach of restrictive covenant and confidentiality, and breach of fiduciary duty, including successfully opposing the enforcement of a non-compete restriction reported at Norbrook v Adair [2008] IRLR 878
- boardroom disputes and executive terminations
- industrial action and other trade union issues
- high value discrimination, equal pay and whistleblowing claims
- outsourcing arrangements in the public and private sectors.
David is also an experienced advocate in Employment Tribunals throughout the UK.
Prior to joining CM Murray LLP David was an employment partner in the City office of an international firm, and a partner and regional head of employment at a leading UK firm.
