World Mental Health Day was on 10 October 2020.
In recent years, mental health has been an issue which has been rising up the agenda of employers. However, the events of 2020 and the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic have shone a spotlight on mental health issues and presented an unprecedented challenge to people and businesses in dealing with mental health in the workplace.
Two of our associates, Harriet Riddick and Nick Hawkins, have prepared a short video to raise awareness of mental health in light of World Mental Health Day, by discussing:
- some of the legal risks associated with mental health;
- particular problems caused by the global pandemic; and
- some practical strategies for managing and supporting mental health in the workplace in light of increased flexible working.
Harriet Riddick is an Associate and Nick Hawkins is a Senior Associate in our team, and both specialise in employment and partnership law.
