Pia Sanchez is a Senior Consultant with an international employment law practice advising clients on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious International Employment Law, frequently with a cross-border element.
Pia advises multinational companies, law firms, financial institutions and international senior executives, on a wide range of employment law issues including misconduct investigations involving sexual harassment and discrimination allegations, whistleblowing, collective redundancies, absence management and managing cross-border projects in the EMEA region.
Pia is also a very experienced legal trainer to multi-national employers and their workforce on employment law issues, explaining complex legal concepts in a practical and pragmatic way and offering actionable solutions. She supports in-house legal and HR teams to design and develop training programs for LLP members, board members and employees on topics such as discrimination and harassment, absence management, family rights, whistleblowing, performance management and redundancies.
Pia is a bilingual Spanish speaker and was named “Consultant Lawyer” by the Mexican Government to advise its diplomatic mission in the UK. She often advises clients in Spanish and has acted as an expert witness in the Madrid employment tribunal. Pia is qualified in England & Wales.
Pia appears as a broadcast media commentator, most recently on ITV News discussing the employment law implications of COVID-19.
Pia was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in September 2006.
