David Jones is an Associate specialising in employment and partnership law.
David advises both employers and individuals on contentious and non-contentious employment matters, and has particular experience advising employers, senior executives and partners on exits, settlements, and breach of restrictive covenants. He also provides guidance on internal investigations involving complex discrimination, harassment, and regulatory issues.
David also has experience assisting clients with a range of regulatory and white-collar crime matters. He has assisted clients subject to CMA, FCA, and SFO investigations and provided corporate guidance on complex compliance issues.
David has worked on a range of high-value and multi-jurisdictional commercial litigation matters, including claims involving fraud, directors’ duties, and applications for interim remedies.
David also takes a keen interest in data protection law, and has experience including in relation to Data Subject Access Requests.
David has been published widely, including on the subjects of managing senior executive reputations, conducting and responding to internal investigations, and duties under the Senior Managers & Certification Regime. Recently published articles have appeared in leading legal and industry publications, including People Management, Wealth Briefing, and the American Bar Association’s Year in Review.
