Gabrielle Lintott is an Associate specialising in employment, regulatory and partnership law.

Gabrielle advises both employers and senior executives on contentious and non-contentious employment matters, and has particular experience advising on both sides of workplace investigations and disciplinary processes.

Gabrielle also advises LLPs, partnerships and LLP members and partners on a range of issues, and has experience advising law firms and individuals on complex regulatory matters.

Gabrielle was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in October 2019.

RECENT MATTERS

Recent Experience:

  • Representing a founder/executive board member during an investigation meeting and advising on the investigation process, their written response to allegations of inappropriate workplace behaviour, suspension matters and the terms of the individual’s return to work;
  • Advising an international law firm on its internal investigation and disciplinary process pertaining to allegations of sexual harassment made against a senior partner, and assisting the firm in defending a corresponding Employment Tribunal claim alleging sex discrimination and unlawful sexual harassment;
  • Advising employers on managing medical incapacity processes and performance issues;
  • Advising a law firm on its potential acquisition of a team at another company, including advice as to the potential legal risks and practical advice on mitigation;
  • Advising a law firm on its successful merger with another law firm;
  • Providing advice to LLP members upon their exit from a firm, together with their key legal and tactical options; and
  • Advising a law firm on its regulatory and reporting obligations to the SRA following allegations of gross misconduct made against a partner.
